We are delighted to share some exciting School Based Traineeship opportunities that are now available with Falvey Hotels – a well known hotel group with venues in the Ipswich, Lockyer Valley and Toowoomba regions.
There are multiple opportunities available in the Sundowner Saloon at Haigslea.
Successful trainees will be working in the Food and Beverage departments at the venue, and will also complete a Certificate III in Business (with a hospitality slant) along the way! A wonderful opportunity for students to Work, Earn and Learn!
An overview of the traineeship is as per below:
- BSB30120 Certificate III in Business
- 13 units of competency
- 375 hours paid employment
- 12 month expected timeframe for completion
Here is the link to the application flyer I am hoping you can share with any of your Year 10 or 11 students that may be interested. This flyer contains some information on the opportunities, as well as a QR code students can use to apply – they simply need to:
- Scan the QR Code
- Complete the Jotform
- Select their preferred venue
- Attach a resume / cover letter
If students want to apply for more than one venue, they will just need to complete the above process for each.
The Hotel will then organize interviews with candidates, and for those successful, CTA will organize the sign up process and get everything underway from there!
