Enrolment interviews are mandatory for all students entering Year 7 in 2027

| Experience Days – The Arts - at Lowood SHS
Local Primary School students can attend Arts Experience Days to trial the
Arts elective subjects that will be offered as for year 6 in 2027.

Term 3
| Week 3 Tuesday 28 July
| Years 6 | Transition Day 2 - at Lowood SHS and Building My Future - at Lowood SHS Local Primary School Year 6 students will visit Lowood State High School to participate in activities about high school. They are then invited to remain at LSHS to attend school tours and subject talks for students, parents and carers in the Junior School.

| Year 6 | Experience Day - Football Academy - at Lowood SHS Local Primary School Year 6 students can trial for the Year 7 Football Academy class. Students will participate in football/futsal drills and games to determine their suitability for the program.

| Experience Day - Football Academy - at Lowood SHS Local Primary School Year 4 and 5 students can trial for the Year 7 Football Academy class. Students will participate in football/futsal drills and games to determine their suitability for the program.

| Years 5 and 6 | Bursary Application DUE Students apply for a $100 Bursary. Application forms are in the Enrolment Pack.

| Experience Day – Science - at Lowood SHS Local Primary School students can attend a Science Experience Day.

| Experience Day – Writing - at Lowood SHS Local Primary School students can attend a Writing Experience Day.

| Students with Additional Needs - Afternoon Tea - at Lowood SHS
Local Primary School students with additional needs and parents/carers can meet their Case Manager, learn about the high school and participate in an orientation walk around the school.

NOTE: Only students who are enrolled may attend.
| Orientation Days - at Lowood SHS 8:55am – 3:00pm (to enable bus travel) Enrolled students will spend two days at Lowood SHS. Students will: • be introduced to key members of staff • be involved in school orientation activities • participate in get-to-know-you activities • attend timetabled classes and experience the high school curriculum
