Week 3 Tuesday, 23 July | Transition Day 2 at Lowood SHS and Building My Future | Local Primary School Year 6 students will visit Lowood State High School to participate in engaging activities about transition to high school, run by Lowood SHS staff and student leaders. They are then invited to remain at LSHS to attend the annual subject and careers event. School tours for parents and carers will occur. | Year 6 |

Week 3 Wednesday, 16 October | Experience Day – Digital Technologies | Local Primary School students can attend Lowood SHS for a Digital Technologies Experience Day. | Years 5 and 6 |
Week 9 Wednesday, 27 November | SWD Year 6 Transition Afternoon Tea | Local Primary School SWD students and parents have the opportunity to meet their Case Manager and other Lowood State High School staff. They can participate in an orientation walk around the school. | Year 6 |
Week 10 Monday, 2 Dec Tuesday, 3 Dec | Orientation Days 8:45am – 3:00pm (to enable bus travel) | Local Primary School students will spend two days at Lowood SHS. Students will: - be introduced to key members of staff
- be involved in school orientation activities
- participate in get-to-know-you activities
- attend timetabled classes and experience the high school curriculum
